One of Australia’s most exciting middle distance runners, Abbey Caldwell, has become the latest member of the sub-2-minute club, clocking 1:59.31 at the Monaco Diamond League women’s 800m. In a fast race (won in 1:56.98), Caldwell hung back before unleashing her trademark kick, passing Linden Hall to finish 5th.
