Eliud Kipchoge has landed a significant financial endorsement as he prepares to defend his title at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The two-time Olympic gold medalist has signed a global ambassadorial agreement with Shokz, a leading innovator in open-ear headphone technology.

This partnership will see the launch of co-branded products, including a limited-edition version of the OpenRun Pro headphones, featuring a distinctive grey and orange design and the ‘NN Running Team’ logo. These exclusive headphones will be available starting June 27, 2024, with additional information accessible on the Shokz website.

Kipchoge, known for his rigorous training methods, praised the headphones for their practicality. “When I first encountered these headphones, I found them very useful for my training, so I had to introduce them to our NN Running team,” he told Business Wire.

The deal is expected to significantly boost Shokz’s market presence, benefiting from Kipchoge’s reputation as one of the greatest marathon runners in history. He holds four of the top ten fastest marathon times and has 11 World Marathon Major victories under his belt.

Kipchoge aims to make history at the Paris Olympics by becoming the first man to win three Olympic marathon titles, following his victories at the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
