Oslo, Norway; 30 May 2024 - Australia’s premier track and field athletes have claimed no less than four podium finishes at the renown Bislett Games in Norway, with middle distance star Georgia Griffith stealing the show with a golden finish and an area record at the Oslo leg of the Diamond League.
Eugene, Oregon; 25 May 2024 -  Australia has continued to assert itself as a middle distance nation, with Olympic finalist Jessica Hull shattering the national 1500m record to land on the Diamond League podium, while Commonwealth champion Oli Hoare returns to world class form with his first Paris 2024 qualifier at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene.

It was a grand-slam style event as 1,900 participants mastered the trails at the Margaret River Ultra Marathon 80km and 42km races over the weekend on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May 2024 in south-west Western Australia.
Nassau, Bahamas; 4 May 2024 -  Australia’s women’s 4x100m relay team has all but punched their tickets to Paris 2024, marking their first Olympic appearance since Sydney 2000 with a record-breaking performance in the opening round of the World Athletics Relay Championships in Nassau, the Bahamas tonight.
The seventh edition of the Margaret River Ultra Marathon will take place next weekend on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May 2024 in south-west Western Australia with a sold-out field of ultra runners to hit the trails.
World-class fields will go for course records and target Olympic qualification in Sunday’s Haspa Marathon Hamburg. Kenya’s defending champion and course record holder Bernard Koech, who tied his personal best with 2:04:09 a year ago, is back while Gotytom Gebreslase, the World Champion from 2022, is the favourite in the women’s race. The Ethiopian, who has a PB of 2:18:18, wants to secure the third spot for the Paris Olympic race in Hamburg. Fellow-Ethiopian Yalemzerf Yehualaw holds Hamburg’s course record of 2:17:23. Late entry Nienke Brinkman will also try to qualify for Paris. The Dutch runner is the bronze medallist from the European Championships in Munich in 2022.
23 April 2024 -  Australia is poised for a breakthrough campaign at the World Athletics Relay Championships next weekend in the Bahamas, fueled by a significant commitment by athletes to the relay program, and a rise in sprinting talent focused on the relentless pursuit of Olympic qualification.
The Vienna City Marathon could turn into a race for records and Olympic dreams next Sunday. If weather conditions are suitable the women’s course record of 2:20:59 is expected be attacked and may be even the 2:05:08 men’s course best could come under threat. Additionally a number of runners will chase Olympic qualification at Austria’s most prestigious road race. Organisers of the 41st Vienna City Marathon, which is a World Athletics Elite Label event, have registered a total of over 41,000 entries. More than 10,000 of them are marathon runners.
