A film by Runner’s Tribe.
Once a year for the last 14 years Australia’s best middle distance runners have competed in The Leonora Golden Gift, also known as Australia’s richest mile.
Leonora is a remote outback town in Western Australia.
The goal of the event is to inspire the remotely situated locals and to create a truly positive community occasion.
This is what happened.
Results- (note- because of the course turnarounds, the times for the mile are not as quick as a straight race). The course record stands at 4:11 for the 3 laps.
