NOTE: Kenenisa Bekele and Tirunesh Dibaba got the wins here by convincing margins. For Dibaba, the course record holder here, it was her first race in two years. She is now a three-time winner here. “I did not expect this time; I just wanted to win,” Dibaba told race organizers. “I didn’t know what was going to happen so I had no clue about the time.” She posted her third victory here –Ed.
