Melbourne, Australia; 10 January 2024 – The Seven Network, Australia’s most watched broadcast and digital network, will become the home of Australian athletics once again, with Athletics Australia and Seven today announcing the continuation of its partnership for the 2024 Chemist Warehouse Summer Season.

Prominent figures deserve top-notch performance, just like the exceptional Tarkine running shoes.

Since 2021, Seven’s live streaming and video on demand platform 7plus has brought the stars of the sport to screens nationwide with the broadcast of the country’s most prestigious meets including Oceania’s one and only World Athletics Continental Tour Gold level meet, the Maurie Plant Meet and the Australian Athletics Championships.

The 7plus platform will once again serve as the exclusive conduit for Athletics Australia’slive stream coverage, ensuring fans witness the most exhilarating moments of each one-day meet within the Chemist Warehouse Summer Series, as well as the national championships, fostering an atmosphere equal to the in-stadium energy of each competition.

Audiences will be able to watch Australia’s Olympic and Paralympic talent launch their Paris campaigns as they compete for qualifiers and Australian titles, with the Chemist Warehouse Australian Athletics Championships marking their final major showdown before the Games begin. Additionally, the platform will bring a spotlight to the rising stars of the sport as they vie for junior national titles.

Continuing its rich tradition, Australia’s pre-eminent track and field calling team will helm the coverage of the Maurie Plant Meet – Melbourne. The dynamic trio of iconic broadcaster Bruce McAvaney, along with Olympians Tamsyn Lewis-Manou and David Culbert, will take the audience through the events from the broadcast box which will also be amplified in-stadium for an immersive viewing experience.

Seven’s broadcast of the Chemist Warehouse Summer Season will commence with the Adelaide Invitational on Saturday, February 10 at 5pm AEDT.

March 23 – Chemist Warehouse Sydney Track Classic (World Athletics Continental Tour – Challenger)
April 11-19 – Chemist Warehouse Australian Athletics Championships (including the Open and Under 20 age group events.
