GUYS, my jaw hurts from smiling too much. I knew it was gonna be a good day. I woke up with an unusual calmness…’People praying at home’ I thought. Then I got to the warm up track and Cathy Freeman called out… “You’re gonna do great little sweetie”… I ran over and gave her a hug… It was confirmed… It was gonna be a good day- you see, I’m renowned for giving people I admire awkward hugs… @lisamessenger @brainchouston and @mfanno for example… But not today. And so it was, a good day. Thanks to my coach – the Boss- @melbtrackclub for ALWAYS believing and to my honey @jonbirdandbeestudio for being EVERYTHING ? THANKYOU for all the messages from home. I read them all, I’m encouraged by them all and we are all feelin’ the LOVE! So excited to cheer my team mates on over the next few days and then get about again in the 5k ??????
