Runner’s Tribe – Over the weekend Kenyan runner, Rhonex Kipruto won the Birell Prague Grand Prix in a time of 26:46, which is the second fastest 10km time in history. Meanwhile on the women’s side Kenya’s Caroline Kipkirui ran the women’s third fastest time ever with 00:30:19.

18 year-old, Kipruto’s time was only two seconds off the world record of 26:44 set by another Kenyan, Leonard Komom in 2010. Clocking in 26:46 for the 10km gave the Kenyan and average moving pace of 2:41 min/km. He is no doubt, an athlete to watch over the coming years at all distances he races.
