ASICS Australia has announced the launch of its new podcast – Sound Mind, Sound Body Stories powered by ASICS. The 12-episode series speaks to guests about reaching their sporting and wellness goals, as well as what helps them keep a sound mind and a sound body.
Standing for Anima Sana In Corpore Sano, Latin for ‘a sound mind in a sound body’, ASICS has the simple belief of balancing the body and mind through movement. By sharing the Sound Mind, Sound Body Stories of partnering guests, the ASICS podcast aims to amplify the message of having a healthy mind and body to achieve any kind of success in sport and in life.

In addition to the podcast, ASICS is enabling everyday athletes all over the world to see, for the first time, the impact of movement on their own mind. The ASICS Mind Uplifter™ tool uses a combination of facial scanning technology and self-report data collection, to allow users to capture the mental and emotional uplift that sport and movement has on the mind and body.
ASICS challenging everyday athletes to use the Mind Uplifter™ tool to capture their pre and post exercise mental wellbeing before sharing their results on social media using #UpliftingMinds.

- SCAN your face to read your emotional state.
- ANSWER scientifically developed questions to gauge your brain function.
- COMPLETE at least 20 minutes of exercise to uplift your mind.
- REPEAT steps two and three.
- GET your Mind Uplift results and SHARE them on your social channels.
- SEE how your results contribute to the World Uplift Map (from July 1).
The first three episodes of Sound Mind, Sound Body powered by ASICS, featuring Meg McClurg, Caitlin Basset and Brandon Starc are currently available, with additional episodes rolling out on Tuesdays each week.
