BRETT Robinson and Victoria Mitchell have been crowned champions after the running of the 2015 B&E Burnie Ten on Sunday.

Both are first-time winners of the race.

Robinson turned the tables on training partner David McNeill, after Robinson came runner-up to his mate in the 2014 edition of the race.

Robinson and McNeill were clear leaders and it soon became a race in two.

But the Melbourne runner, formerly of the ACT, made his move with 2.5 kilometres to run.

He put an unassailable gap on McNeill and found the line first, easing up in the final 200 metres to finish in a time of just over 29 minutes.
