Jessica Hull has unofficially broken the Australian Indoor 1500m record at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston, running 4:04.14 to take out the race.

Meanwhile, in New York, the 2019 Australian 5000m champion, Jordan Gusman, has qualified for the world indoor titles. Gusman, from the elite squad, Tinman Elite, clocked 7:49 at the Dr Sanders Invitational in New York City, just inside the world championship qualifier (7:50).
