Leanne Pompeani won the NSW 3000m Championships overall in 9:06.85, just ahead of Aynslee Van Graan who won the NSW state title. Kieran Tall won the men’s race in a close contest, outkicking Craig Huffer in the final lap to win in a time of 8:05.61, with Ben St Lawrence coming third.
