Noah Lyles headlines a star-studded sprint lineup at the Wanda Diamond League’s Athletissima meet in Lausanne on August 20. Still chasing points to qualify for the final in Zurich, Lyles will clash with Jamaica’s Kishane Thompson and Oblique Seville after a surprise 100m loss in London. Thompson, who narrowly lost to Lyles at Paris 2024, seeks revenge in both Silesia and Lausanne.

The women’s 200m is equally stacked, featuring Olympic 100m champ Julien Alfred, Shericka Jackson, and Dina Asher-Smith. Alfred, already qualified in the 100m, aims to make her mark at the longer distance.

Other Lausanne highlights include Cordell Tinch vs. Trey Cunningham in the 110m hurdles, and a high jump showdown led by Yaroslava Mahuchikh against Nicola Olyslagers, Eleanor Patterson, and Angelina Topic — all building toward the World Championships in Tokyo.
