Australian Ollie Hoare has won his second race in as many weeks.
Having recently signed with the young and rapidly growing sneaker company ‘ON’, Hoare Kicked off his debut as a pro with a win and a 3:34.64 1500m at the 2020 Music City Distance Carnival in Nashville. It was the fastest 1500m in the US state of Tennessee’s history . It also would have been an Olympic qualifying time, however the qualifying period has been frozen, meaning the time will not officially count for Tokyo 2021.
Ollie backed up the win, with another victory, this time at the South Carolina Track Fest. Ollie clocked a mile in 3:53.35, a PB. In this strangest of years, it is the fastest mile to date, of 2020.
