In the men’s triple jump, Andy Diaz Hernandez of Italy leaped an impressive 17.80m, securing the title with a dominant series of jumps and showing the form that’s made him a rising force on the global stage.

Team Great Britain’s Jeremiah Azu powered through the 60m final to take gold in 6.49 seconds, outpacing a deep field with a lightning start and strong drive phase. It’s a breakout international win for Azu, who has been steadily climbing the ranks in European sprinting.

In the women’s shot put, Sarah Mitton of Canada delivered a massive throw of 20.48m, taking the crown in commanding fashion and continuing her momentum from a strong 2024 season. Meanwhile, Saga Vanninen of Finland earned a decisive victory in the women’s pentathlon, scoring 4821 points with consistently strong performances across all five events. From Team USA, there were notable podium finishes as well. Chase Jackson secured bronze in the shot put with a best of 20.06m, showcasing her consistency on the world stage. In the pentathlon, Taliyah Brooks also grabbed bronze with 4669 points, rounding out a hard-fought multi-event battle.
