The list below says it all. Jessica Trengove’s run this morning in the Melbourne Marathon was nothing short of history making.

The 2014 Commonwealth Games bronze medallist destroyed the women’s field and on that note most of the men’s field as well.

Jess took two and a half minutes off her personal best with a winning time of 2 hours 27 minutes and 45 seconds.

“That was what the aim of this year’s marathon was – to show that I can do it, that I can line up for Rio and have a real crack,” said Trengove.

Meanwhile on the men’s side Brad Milosevic ran a very impressive 2:16:00, making him the fourth Australian to gain the Olympic qualifying mark of 2:17:00.
