Kelly Hetherington joins Brady about her career as an 800m and a wide range of topics, from how her relationship with her coach the late Maxine Corcoran formed her start in the sport, to how training for the 800m differs from long-distance running and changing coaches to Craig Mottram. Kelly talks about her days of racing the pro-circuit on a days notice and winning the 2013 800m national title and meeting an idol in Charlene Rendina and how she qualified for the World Championships in Moscow and the experiences she had on and off the track as well as her other highlights including running in the world relays in the Bahamas and the breaks from the sport that came with various injuries and illness. Kelly also recalls her weirdest call room experience, before closing with who she looks up to and what she’s reading at the moment.
