Courtney Dauwalter shattered the course record by over an hour and fifteen minutes at the Western States Endurance Run 100 mile race, in 15 hours 29 minutes. Brit Tom Evans was first man across the line, traversing in 14 hours 40 minutes.
Steph Auston was the most prominent Australian finishing 13th in just under 20 hours.
