Reflecting on his achievement, Sawe expressed his delight, remarking, “I am thrilled to have achieved a personal best and to have set a new race record. The course was perfect, and the support from the fans was incredible.” Praising the beauty of Prague and the encouragement of the spectators, Sawe attributed his success to the unique atmosphere of the event.

Meanwhile, in the women’s race, Ethiopian athlete Gete Alemayechu Teklemichael emerged victorious, crossing the finish line in 68 minutes and 10 seconds. Teklemichael’s triumph over her competitors, including Kenyan runner Jesca Chelangat, demonstrated her determination and skill on the challenging course.
