Grand Slam Track™, the premier platform for global professional track and field, has revealed the five star athletes set to compete in its inaugural season. Joining the ranks are Nickisha Pryce (Jamaica), Alexis Holmes (USA), Hagos Gebrhiwet (Ethiopia), Oblique Seville (Jamaica), and Sasha Zhoya (France). These exceptional athletes will race in all four Grand Slam events, taking place in Kingston, Miami, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles.

Nickisha, Alexis, Hagos, Oblique, and Sasha have all demonstrated exceptional skills, and fans can expect breathtaking performances from them.”

Fans are encouraged to secure tickets for all four Slam events, where these athletes will compete twice each weekend. The season promises fast-paced, world-class track and field action.

Spotlight on the Athletes

Nickisha Pryce (Jamaica) has been a standout in the 400m, setting the Jamaican national record with a time of 48.57 seconds in 2024. She became the 2024 NCAA Champion with a 48.89-second run and earned a silver medal in the Jamaican 4x400m relay at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest.

“I’ve dedicated years to perfecting my performance, and Grand Slam Track™ provides the perfect stage to continue pushing myself,” Pryce said.

Alexis Holmes (USA) is a key player on the U.S. 4x400m relay team, which won gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Holmes also helped set a world record in the mixed 4x400m relay in 2023. Her 400m bronze at the 2024 World Indoor Championships further highlights her extraordinary talent.

“Grand Slam Track™ is the perfect opportunity to challenge myself against the world’s best,” said Holmes.

Hagos Gebrhiwet (Ethiopia) is a long-distance legend with multiple global medals, including an Olympic bronze in 2016 and a national record of 12:36.73 in the 5000m. In 2023, he won gold in the 5km at the World Road Running Championships.

“Competing at Grand Slam Track™ will push my limits in new ways, and I’m excited for this unique challenge,” Gebrhiwet shared.

Oblique Seville (Jamaica) is one of the fastest sprinters on the global stage, having made it to the finals of the 100m and 200m at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He also set a world-leading time of 9.82 seconds in the 100m in Kingston.

“Racing against top athletes is always motivating, and Grand Slam Track™ will take my performance to the next level,” Seville said.

Sasha Zhoya (France) has established himself as a leading force in hurdles, winning the 2023 European U23 Championship and the 2024 Diamond League title in the 110m hurdles. His dominant performances in both the 60m and 110m hurdles continue to make him a fan favorite.
