Sunshine Coast Marathon returns to the streets of Queensland and was won by Isaias Beyn & Riine Ringi. Jack Bruce & Tennille Ellis won the Half Marathon, while Ryan Gregson & Ash Gentle took out the 10k.

Seifu Tura won the Chicago Marathon in 2:06:12, just over Galen Rupp who ran 2:06:35 backing up from the Tokyo Olympics. Ruth Chepngetich had a clear over Americans Emma Bates and Sara Hall, winning in a time of 2:22:31.
