The women’s 400m saw a strong field of Australian talent line up over three heats. Bendere Oboya (NSW) produced a smooth run over one lap to take the win over Gabriella O’Grady (NSW) and Kendra Hubbard (VIC), while Rio Olympian Anneliese Rubie-Renshaw (NSW) crossed the line first in the second heat. Seven West Media and Athletics Australia have today announced a new streaming partnership that will deliver the 2021 Australian Track and Field Championships to fans across the country. The new partnership will see Athletics Australia’s live stream coverage delivered to fans on Seven’s market-leading BVOD platform, 7plus, with six and a half hours of coverage broadcast daily over eight days of competition.
Athletics Australia has confirmed the withdrawal of the Australian Team from the 2021 World Athletics Relay Championships, to be staged in Silesia, Poland on 1-2 May.
