Mary Cain has filed a $20 million lawsuit against Alberto Salazar, her former coach, and Nike, who employed both Cain and Salazar within the now defunct Nike Oregon Project.

20-year-old Keely Small has signed with the Oregon Ducks.  One of Australia's best middle distance talents, Small won the women's 800m at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics and the 2019 Pacific Games. She also competed in the 800m at the 2018 Commonwealth Games where she became the fastest ever Australian junior over 800m clocking 2:00.81.

Alberto Salazar, the previously Nike backed US based coach who took Mo Farah to four Olympic gold medals and six world titles, has lost his appeal. Salazar was banned for a series of doping violations, read more on the violations HERE.
Olympic fourth place finisher Peter Bol has finished the season of his life, by crossing the line in fourth at the Zagreb Diamond League. Bol ran aggressively and was leading down the home straight, just running of steam over the final 50 metres.
On Wednesday and Friday evening (1/9 & 3/9) in Brussels, athletics aficionados were treated to another fabulous night's action at the famous Boudewijnstadion for the 45th Van Damme Memorial Meeting.
An amazing aggressive piece of front running by Linden Hall at the Lausanne Diamond League.  Hall has continued to position herself at the pointy end of global 1500m running, finishing 2nd . Hall showed her confidence and strength,going with the pace maker and gapping the rest of the field by a clear 20 metres.  She was only passed on the home straight by Ethiopia's Freweyni Gebreezibeher, who was 4th at the Tokyo Olympics.
Some of Australia's biggest names are stepping up at the Lausanne Diamond League. The meet gets under way 12pm local time on Thursday August 26th.
Olympic 1500m champ Faith Kipyegon continued her winning ways at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene. She stopped the clock at 3:53.23 to smash the rest of the field. Kipyegon ran aggressively, clinging to the rabbit then launching for home. She was rewarded with a meet record and handed the rest of the field a true flogging for her efforts.
