here at the Runner’s Tribe we welcome the news that ‘Run for Wild Places’ challenge has just launched.It’s a new challenge event for runners created by the guy who created the Takayna Ultra that takes places this April challenging you to get out in nature, clock your kilometres and support one of three epic grassroot environmental organisations.
Initially developed and launched in the US by trail runner, Dakota Jones, Footprints is making its way to Australia, in partnership with Patagonia, with the very first camp being held April 20th-25th 2023 in Warburton, the lands of the Wurundjeri people, Victoria.

Dauwalter's incredible display of strength and endurance surpassed the previous leading time by an astonishing 80 minutes, leaving spectators in awe of her remarkable feat. kunanyi Mountain Run returns for its second year with an exceptionally strong field of 800 plus runners, including some of Australia’s fastest trail runners. The Surf Coast Century 100km and 50km ultra trail marathon has received the green light to proceed on 5 - 6 December 2020 in Anglesea, Victoria, with limited entries remaining for solo competitors and 90 relay teams remaining
