Local Hobart mum and top trail runner, Maggie Lennox, showed some of Australia’s elite trail runners just how  it’s done, with a stunning performance in the 25km event of this weekend’s kunanyi Mountain Run. 
Initially developed and launched in the US by trail runner, Dakota Jones, Footprints is making its way to Australia, in partnership with Patagonia, with the very first camp being held April 20th-25th 2023 in Warburton, the lands of the Wurundjeri people, Victoria.
The Raffertys Coastal trail run snakes through the Lake Macquarie Wallarah National Park taking runners on a journey from calm lake shore to rugged coast line. Lake Macquarie is a natural adventure playground; the stunning lake and wild coastlines are iconic of the east coast of Australia.  Runners pass through varied terrain from bushland single track to ridgetop fire trail, heathy coastal track, rock platforms and sandy beaches; all the elements of a top trail run destination with views that will get you through the kilometers.
Amidst the spotlight on the remarkable achievements of the five runners who conquered this year's Barkley Marathons, the impressive display of resilience by Damian Hall at Frozen Head State Park in Tennessee deserves equal recognition.

This endeavor will see Shane running an average of over 100 kilometers per day on undulating technical trail, showcasing the epitome of human determination and perseverance.
The picturesque landscapes of Southern France are about to bear witness to the triumphant return of trail running sensation, Jim Walmsley, at the upcoming 'Roubion-Nice' race. This event, an integral part of the UTMB World Series, is poised to deliver a thrilling weekend of endurance challenges against the stunning backdrop of Nice Côte d'Azur. Complementing the marquee 100-mile Ultra Trail Métropole Nice, there are equally enticing races, including the 50km Menton-Nice and the 20km Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat-Nice.
