The 2020 Bank of America Chicago Marathon has been canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, event organisers announced Monday. Due to be held on October 11, it was announced on Monday night that the Chicago event of 45,000 runners would not be staged “out of concern for the safety of event participants, volunteers, event staff and spectators”.
The magic of the Run Larapinta Stage Race awaits adventurous runners in 2021 with entries now open to two event dates after the 2020 event was postponed due to COVID-19.The 4 day, 4 stage trail running race will be held on 21-24 April and 26-29 August both in 2021 - providing more people the opportunity to be part of this life-changing experience. The 2020 event was postponed and will in effect be replaced by the April race, whilst the August event is in the usual timeslot for 2021.

Justin Scarvaci wins the Margaret River Ultra men's race
A record field of 1,258 participants took to the trails along the Cape to Cape coastline in south-west Western Australia at the third annual Margaret River Ultra Marathon on Saturday 17 October, 2020. In one of Australia’s only ultra-marathons this year, Justin Scarvaci and Claire O’Brien-Smith were first across the line in the solo male and female categories respectively, after a testing, yet rewarding 80km point to point course in perfect conditions.
Entries are now open for the fourth edition of the Margaret River Ultra Marathon on 1 May 2021 in south-west, Western Australia. After a record field of 1,300 participants turned out for the 2020 (postponed) event last month, organisers are expecting the running community to once again embrace the magnificent course by confirming their entries now and avoid missing out.
