Just four months ago I completed what was one the most successful seasons of my career thus far. And now only 2 months out from the 2010/11 season I reflect on the highs and lows of last season and the winter I just had.   10th of December 2009 was exactly...
Thankfully, I’ve got guys like Matt Ramsden and Ben Chamberlain pulling me around the track here in Perth in the meantime. Obviously, Chambo and Ramsden need no introduction, and their professionalism and elite mindset towards training is something that I’m constantly learning from as a Duathlete. My 10km pb time was well below par for my standards, sitting at 31.15 on the track. It took just one minute 45.71 seconds for Joseph Deng to throw a hand grenade into considerations of the three men to represent Australia in the 800 metres at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. Oh, and let’s not forget the aiding and abetting party to this chaos: I refer,...

Last week I was lucky enough to represent Australia at the World Cross Country Championships in Guiyang, China. I had made the Australian Mountain Running Team before but making the Australian Cross Country Team was something that I had dreamed of and strived for since I began running. Since...
By Matt Fitzgerald - Runner's Tribe At the 2016 World Half Marathon Championships, held in Cardiff, Wales, young Geoffrey Kamworor gave the running community an object lesson in keeping calm during a crisis. The Kenyan upstart came into the race having talked a lot of smack about one fellow competitor,...
